Jesus Jams 2009-2010

Jesus Jams is a ministry to, with, by and for high school students of the diocese of Columbus with the ultimate goal of drawing students into an active participation in the life, mission, and work of their local parish community. Last year, with the blessing of Bishop Campbell, CYSC formally adopted the Jesus Jam program under its ministry umbrella and secured a new home base at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Columbus.

Program components include Holy Mass, inspiring keynote speakers, dynamic praise and worship with “The Firey Fish”, student testimonies, and spotlight on consecrated religious communities from across the country. The event begins with 5:00 p.m. Mass in St. Catherine Church followed by the Jesus Jam program in St. Catherine School gymnasium which concludes promptly at 8:30 p.m. As always, there is absolutely no cost to participate.
